Jacob Edward Woods
Authentic. Heart Breaker.
Growing up in Augusta, GA, singer/songwriter Jacob Woods began playing classical guitar when he was just five years old. At a young age, music became his passion taking inspiration from his father, Rob Woods, who played piano. Soon after picking up the guitar, he began singing and started writing music at the age of 15.
Jacob began his journey playing the bar circuit in Georgia college towns. He’s opened for artists the likes of Kane Brown, Eli Young Band and Parker McCollum.
At the age of 22, Jacob traveled to Nashville to record his first EP. In December of 2018, Jacob released his first single “Hometown Heartache”. He’s since released his second single “You Got Me Like”. Both singles can be found on Apple Music, Spotify, and any other major streaming platform.
Jacob resides in Athens, GA now where he is currently a fourth year student pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
When he’s not recording music or studying, Jacob is usually out hunting or fishing. On a crisp fall afternoon you can usually find him in Sanford Stadium cheering on the Dawgs.
